Get in the holiday spirit as you listen to Celtic Music and shop from artisan merchants!
The music of the Appalachian region was heavily influenced by the influx of the Scotch and Irish immigrants, and this influence has been integral in the development of American folk music traditions. With Christmas approaching and the New Year beckoning, it is time once again to honor the musical traditions of the area by listening to songs of the season.
This event is held in memory of Ed Harrison, a beloved member of the Hagood Mill Family.
The Heritage Pavilion is decorated for the season. Our traditional-arts demonstrators and artisan merchants are set up in this covered and heated area so you can shop as you listen. Weather permitting, a bonfire will be lit and s’mores will be available for purchase.
Be sure to bring the kids so they can keep an eye out for our favorite person of the season, Santa Claus! He always takes some time out of his busy schedule to stop by to visit with our guests and listen to great music!
We love Hagood Mill! This is a great place to bring the family for a day of affordable fun! Enjoy live music, food, merchants, + more and I'm sure you will love it as much as we do!
