Mark your calendars for October 16-17, 2026 for 25th Annual Storytelling Festival & Liar’s Competition at Hagood Mill Historic Site!

👻 Friday Night Frights & Ghost Stories kicks things off on Oct. 16 at 6:30 PM with spine-tingling tales hosted by Johnny Thomas Fowler.

Admission: $10 (ages 10+).

🎤 On Saturday, Oct. 17, the festival continues with a full day of stories, laughter, and folklore—headlined by Walt Belcher, winner of the 2025 Liar’s Competition. \

Admission: $7 (ages 10+).

Friday and Saturday Festival Admission: $17 (ages 10+)

You’ll also enjoyTim Lowry, Andy Offutt Irwin – both national storytellers, plus the always-hilarious Liar’s Competition.

🪕 Historic demonstrations, crafts, vendors, food, and fun for the whole family! Admission just $5 (ages 10+), kids 9 & under free.
