Get up close to pre-historic carvings from before at least 1825! Visitors will be able to view the petroglyphs in a climate-controlled environment complete with a narrated light presentation.
The petroglyphs, discovered in 2003 by Michael Bramlett, were researched and cataloged by Dr. Tommy Charles and then covered by the Hagood Creek Petroglyph Center.
Believed to be pecked into the rock next to Hagood Creek!
The petroglyphs also lay alongside the Native Roots Trail which is part of the Old Indian Path!
Nothing extra required, you'll be able to listen to a narrated light presentation that tells the stories of our ancient petroglyphic carvings preserved at Hagood Mill.
