We welcome artisans, craftsmen, food vendors, and local businesses to join us in bringing these events to life by sharing their handmade goods, traditional skills, and delicious food with our visitors.

Types of Vendors We Welcome

We are always looking for authentic, high-quality, and historically inspired vendors to enhance the visitor experience at Hagood Mill. Categories include:

🎨 Handcrafted Art & Folk Crafts – Pottery, woodwork, fiber arts, blacksmithing, basket weaving, jewelry, and other traditional crafts.
🛠 Live Demonstrators – Artisans who showcase traditional skills such as spinning, leatherworking, and metalwork.
🌿 Locally Made & Specialty Products – Homemade soaps, candles, honey, preserves, and farm-fresh goods.
🥘 Food Vendors – BBQ, baked goods, kettle corn, Southern cuisine, and festival-friendly treats.
📚 Books & Heritage Goods – History books, storytelling, folklore items, and educational materials.
🎵 Music & Instruments – Handmade instruments and folk music merchandise.

Vendor Requirements & Guidelines

We are excited to welcome artisan, food, and drink vendors to Hagood Mill Historic Site for our Third Saturday Events and other special programs. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review our vendor requirements and guidelines below.


General Vendor Requirements

📌 All vendors must apply in advance and be approved before participating in any event.
📌 Handcrafted and locally made products are strongly preferred to align with the mission of Hagood Mill Historic Site.
📌 Food vendors must meet all health and safety regulations and provide proper licensing.
📌 Demonstrating vendors are encouraged to showcase the process behind their craft to engage visitors.
📌 Vendors must provide their own booth setup, including tents, tables, and chairs.


Vendor Fees & Details

🔹 Artisan Vendors – $35 fee (includes general admission for 2 people)
🔹 Snack/Drink Vendors – $35 fee (includes general admission for 2 people)
    ✔️ Must remove all garbage from the site at the end of the event.
🔹 Food Vendors – $35 fee (includes general admission for 3 people)
    ✔️ Must remove all garbage from the site at the end of the event.

🔹 Each additional helper (ages 13 and up) must purchase a general admission ticket.

🔹 Each vendor space is 10’ x 10’ and vendors must bring their own setup.
🔹 No electricity hookups are available.


Event Day Information

📅 Arrival & Setup:

  • Vendors may arrive as early as 8:00 AM on the morning of the event.
  • Vehicles must be parked in VIP Parking by 9:30 AM.
  • Booths must be fully set up by 10:00 AM when the event begins.
  • Vendors are expected to stay set up until 4:00 PM.

🌧️ Rain or Shine Policy:

  • Third Saturday events occur rain or shine.
  • All vendor fees are non-refundable.

📩 Payment & Confirmation:

  • If accepted, vendors will receive an invoice the week before the event.
  • Vendor space is not reserved until payment is received.
