Hagood Mill Historic Site is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Americana Folk Festival on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with a full day of soul-stirring music, Appalachian tradition, and community celebration.

Join us Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a full day of live Americana and folk music, Appalachian heritage, artisan demonstrations, food vendors, and family-friendly fun at Hagood Mill Historic Site!

🎤 Featuring performances by:

Rachel VanSlyke – A talented Upstate South Carolina singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt lyrics, soulful vocals, and acoustic Americana style. Rachel’s music blends folk, country, and roots influences into performances that are both intimate and emotionally powerful.

Helen Campbell – A rising folk and Americana artist whose warm voice and thoughtful songwriting draw inspiration from Appalachian traditions and contemporary acoustic music. Her performances capture the spirit of storytelling that defines the Americana genre.

Angela Easterling and Friends – South Carolina-based Americana artist Angela Easterling is celebrated for her rich songwriting, Southern storytelling, and distinctive voice. Blending country, folk, and roots influences, her music has earned national recognition and praise for its authenticity and lyrical depth.

Appalachian Son – Bringing the spirit of the mountains to the stage, Appalachian Son combines traditional Appalachian influences with modern folk and roots music. Their performances celebrate the culture, stories, and sounds of the Southern Appalachians.

Danielle Yother and Tabitha Benedict – This talented duo delivers beautiful harmonies and heartfelt acoustic performances rooted in folk and Americana traditions. Their blend of vocal chemistry and emotional storytelling creates a captivating live music experience.

Experience the sights and sounds of Appalachian tradition as the historic 1845 grist mill operates throughout the day producing fresh stone-ground grains available for purchase. Guests can also enjoy living history demonstrations including blacksmithing, weaving, flintknapping, and more.
