Hagood Mill Historic Site Camping Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, please review and follow the camping guidelines below:

🏕️ General Guidelines

  • Head Camper: The head camper must provide a valid photo ID to verify name, address, and age.

  • Responsible Party: Each site must have one person age 18 or older listed as the “Head Camper.” This individual must remain onsite overnight and is responsible for all members of their party under the age of 18.

  • Liability Waivers: All campers over 18 must sign a liability waiver. A parent or guardian must sign for minors under 18.

🌿 Respect the Site

  • Leave No Trace: Please pack out all trash and leave your site clean for the next camper.

  • Campfires: Fires are permitted only in designated, pre-approved fire areas.

  • Generators: Loud generators are not permitted while other campers are present.

  • Quiet Hours: Quiet time is observed from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

🐾 Pets

  • Pet Policy: Vaccinated, well-behaved pets are welcome! Pets must remain on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.

  • Clean-Up: Please clean up after your pet. Dog waste stations are located near the walking bridge by the road.

⏰ Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-In: Begins at 1:00 PM.

  • Check-Out: By 12:00 PM (noon).

  • RV Policy: Oversized RVs or campers may be required to purchase an additional site.
