Native American Celebration

Pickens, SC — In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Hagood Mill Historic Site will host its Annual Native American Celebration on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This signature event celebrates the rich traditions, music, and artistry of Indigenous peoples across the Southeast.

Visitors will enjoy a full day of drumming, singing, dancing, storytelling, and cultural demonstrations including Catawba pottery, beadwork, basket weaving, flint knapping, Cherokee blowgun techniques, and atlatl spear throwing. Authentic handmade crafts will be available for purchase.
