Discover the artistry of blacksmithing with a creative twist in this full-day Blacksmithing Jewelry Class at Hagood Mill Historic Site! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced smith, this immersive workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from two skilled instructors: blacksmithing expert Kevin Thompson and jewelry artist/journeywoman blacksmith Katie Mann.

Under their guidance, you’ll forge 4 to 5 handcrafted pendants of your choice, learning foundational techniques along with creative approaches to wearable metal art. Cordage will be provided for finishing your pieces, and Katie will offer additional adornments and materials available for purchase to enhance your designs.
